New Year's Thought: A Year of Expansion and Glory

“Lift up your eyes and look from the place where you are… for all the land that you see I will give to you.”

📖 Genesis 13:14–15

Each new year is not just a change of calendar; it is a divine invitation to move forward, to grow, and to manifest the glory of God in new dimensions. The Lord is not a God of stagnation, but of expansion, and His desire is for His people to walk from glory to glory.

Expansion: God Enlarging Our Territory

Expansion begins in the heart and the mind. Before God expands what is external, He works on what is internal. With Abraham, God first caused him to see, then to believe, and finally to possess.

This year, God wants to:

  • Expand your spiritual vision

  • Expand your faith

  • Expand your capacity to receive

  • Expand your influence and calling

📖 Isaiah 54:2 exhorts us:

“Enlarge the place of your tent… do not hold back.”

Expansion requires faith, obedience, and a willingness to step out of what is comfortable.

🔥 Glory: The Visible Manifestation of God

The glory of God is not merely a spiritual concept; it is His manifested presence transforming lives, families, and communities.

📖 Habakkuk 2:14 declares:

“The earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord.”

This new year is an opportunity to:

  • Live under the guidance of the Holy Spirit

  • Reflect the character of Christ in every area

  • See the glory of God manifested in healing, restoration, and salvation

🙏 A Call to Alignment

Expansion and glory require alignment. We cannot move to new levels while carrying old attitudes, unhealed wounds, or a limited faith.

This is a year to:

  • Let go of the past

  • Renew our commitment to God

  • Walk in holiness and obedience

  • Believe that the best is yet to come

🌅 Declaration for the New Year

I declare that this is a year of spiritual, emotional, and ministerial expansion.

I will walk under the glory of God, advance with faith, and see His mighty hand manifested in my life and in everything He has entrusted to me. Amen. Pastora Jadira García
